Please reach out to us at admin@striveahead.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
To arrange an appointment, please contact us via email or phone. We will respond as soon as possible to find a suitable time.
You are welcome to attend privately without a referral.
If you would like to access a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and referral from your GP.
DVA clients are also welcome; however, a GP referral is required for DVA-funded sessions.

You are welcome to dress comfortably for your appointment. Casual clothing appropriate for the setting is perfectly fine, and any footwear is suitable.

Yes. Telehealth (video or phone) appointments are available for clients who prefer to attend remotely or who cannot attend in person. Although, telehealth is not suitable for all psychological assessments. This can be discussed when arranging an appointment.
Yes. Your privacy and confidentiality are taken very seriously. Information discussed in sessions is kept confidential and securely stored.
There are some situations where information may need to be shared, such as where there is a legal or safety obligation (for example, if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else).
For clients attending under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, DVA, or other referral arrangements, updates or reports may be provided to the referring GP or relevant organisation when required as part of the referral process.
These limits to confidentiality and how information may be shared will always be discussed clearly during your first appointment, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. Late cancellations reduce the opportunity for other clients to access support.
Fees may be charged directly to the client if the appointment time cannot be filled by another client prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
DVA, WorkCover, and other third-party funding arrangements do not cover cancellation fees.
Cancellation fees remain the responsibility of the client.
Please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible if you need to change your appointment.
Our fees are set below the recommended rate of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), which currently recommends a standard fee of $318 per session.
Our fee structure is designed to remain competitive while reflecting professional standards of care. Please see the schedule of fees for current pricing. Specific fees for psychological assessments will be discussed when booking your appointment.
